Had a wonderful experience here i brought my partner here who wasnt at the time a huge cheese fan but after sampling somwhat 30 different cheeses she was absolutely in love with some of them we both agreed our favourite was the baby sheep cheese which we couldnt resist buying a whole wheel of it. Very friendly and informative staff had a great time out here.

Very nice shop and gorgeous presentation of the factory's story and the production process of the cheese. The young lady vas adorable and courteous. The cheese's tasty tasty You have to do a stop here. I recommend this place
unbelievably nice staff and tour. parking, entry, tours, cheese-tasting, and toilets are all free!!! which makes it even more tempting to go all out on the cheese-and souvenier-buying! the women wore traditional dresses which added to the experience :) due to covid-19, there weren't many guests and we (4 guests) had a private cheese tour, and a wooden shoe tour with 3 other guests. The staff was unbelievably nice and open for conversations about their profession. The woman doing the wooden shoe tour also gave me a map of the area and kindly sketched ways and places to visit for us while already being in Volendam, so this way we were able to find the beautiful haven near Marinapark (free parking area)!! Must-visit!! Nearby the haven, there is a tiny little beach. perfect for a stroll. Alida Hoeve is a must visit!
Nice place with a fun tour of making cheeses and wooden shoes.
Went there in 04 it was an amazing trip back in time. The Dutch language was something I appreciated listening to. Also they sell and make clogs and cheese right in front of you! Highly recommended, also it is a close drive to Amsterdam. If you need a hotel that's cheaper go to Volendam to find a good price and visit this well ran establishment! Oh and the lovely girls provide taste tests at the end of the tour. Cheese and wine. :)
